Executive Board of Directors Secretary 

Jana Blevins

​

Jana was born in Klamath Falls, OR but grew up in Dunsmuir, CA. She lived and worked in Big Valley before moving to Lake Shastina to be closer to family and the area she grew up. Jana graduated from Dunsmuir High School and attended Lassen College & Butte College working toward a Children’s Learning Certificate. She worked for Pacific Bell Telephone as an operator before spending 12 years working as a Teacher’s Aide and Coach for Big Valley Joint Unified School District. After moving, Jana worked for 20 years as a Teacher’s Aide, Coach & Secretary for Siskiyou Union High School District.

 

Jana became involved with the MVHC Board when she was helping to brainstorm potential members and volunteered to be considered. Her hope for her time on the board is that she can ensure that there is always affordable, quality healthcare close to home for residents of our communities. She feels very fortunate to be a part of the team and is impressed by the organization and dedication of Mountain Valleys Health Centers staff to our communities.

 

Jana is an active member of her community and has served on the Siskiyou Union High School District School Board, the College of the Siskiyous Scholarship Committee, and as a Second Counselor for the Relief Society Presidency.
